Booking & Appointments
How do I book an appointment?
Book online 24/7 through Fresha, or call us at (480) 598-2555. Online booking is the fastest way to secure your preferred time and technician.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcome when chairs are open, but full sets — Gel X and hard gel — require a reservation. Booking ahead guarantees your time, your technician, and a relaxed experience rather than a wait.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules. Same-day cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee. Life happens — just reach out as early as you can.
Can I book a same-day appointment?
Sometimes. Check availability on Fresha or give us a call — same-day openings do occur, especially for shorter services like gel manicures and pedicures. For extensions, booking a day or two out is more reliable.
How early should I arrive?
Arriving 5–10 minutes early is ideal. It gives us a moment to confirm your preferences, choose your color, and get you comfortable before we start — so the full appointment time goes into your nails, not the intake.
Services
What nail services do you offer?
Gel X extensions, hard gel (a flexible rubber base builder), gel manicures, classic manicures, luxury manicures, pedicures, spa pedicures, nail art, waxing, and body scrub treatments. Full descriptions and pricing are on the Services page.
How long do appointments typically take?
Gel X full set: 90–120 minutes. Hard gel: 75–90 minutes. Gel manicure: 45–60 minutes. Pedicure: 45–75 minutes. Nail art adds time depending on complexity — share your inspo photo at booking and we can give you an estimate.
Do you offer nail art?
Yes — from minimal line work and French tips to freehand designs, chrome powder, cat eye gel, and custom florals. Nail art is priced by complexity and added on top of your service. Send your inspo photo when booking so we can plan ahead.
What's the difference between all the gel types — BIAB, builder gel, polygel, rubber base?
They're mostly marketing names for products in just two families: hard gel (rigid, file-off) and soft gel (flexible, soak-off). BIAB and rubber base are soft builder gels — what our menu calls Hard Gel. We break down every term in plain English in our gel types glossary.
What's the difference between Gel X and hard gel?
Gel X uses pre-formed soft-gel tips bonded to the natural nail — the route to dramatic added length. Hard gel is our rubber base gel applied directly to the natural nail without tips, building structure and strength from beneath. For most clients it's the better everyday choice — it looks more natural and flexes with the nail, so it holds up to real life. Reach for Gel X when you specifically want length.
Gel X & Extensions
How long does Gel X last?
Gel X typically lasts three to four weeks before a fill or removal. Lifespan depends on your daily activities, nail-bed shape, and aftercare. Applying cuticle oil daily makes a meaningful difference in how long your set stays lifted-free.
Does Gel X damage natural nails?
Not when applied and removed properly. The natural nail is only lightly buffed — never drilled or aggressively e-filed. Damage almost always comes from improper removal: picking, peeling, or filing the tip off at home. Always have it soaked off by a professional.
How is Gel X removed?
For a complete removal, it soaks off in about 20 minutes with acetone — the soft gel breaks down cleanly, with no filing of the natural nail. At fill appointments we file the old product down instead, carefully switching from a coarse bit to a fine bit for tight corners and edges — the existing gel layer shields the nail, so it does no damage. Never peel or pick it off at home; that's what causes real nail damage.
Can I get Gel X if my natural nails are short?
Yes. The tips come in a range of shapes and sizes that work even with very short natural nails. We can also apply them cut short to mimic a natural length if you want the strength without added length.
What is hard gel (builder gel)?
Our hard gel is a builder-style gel — thick and self-leveling — applied directly to the natural nail to add strength, structure, and gentle length. There are no tips involved. We use a rubber base gel, which cures into a protective layer that stays flexible — it looks more natural and bends with the nail instead of snapping, making it the best choice for most clients, especially anyone who works with their hands. Aftercare
How do I make my nails last longer?
Apply cuticle oil daily — it keeps the skin pliable and reduces lifting at the edges. Wear gloves when cleaning, washing dishes, or using harsh chemicals. Avoid using your nails as tools. These three habits alone will add days to your wear time.
Can I get my nails wet right after my appointment?
Gel nails are fully cured under UV light in the salon, so yes — you can get them wet right away. Just avoid prolonged soaking (long baths, hot tubs, pool) for the first 24 hours while the gel bond fully settles.
What should I avoid after getting gel nails?
Avoid picking at edges, prolonged heat exposure (saunas, very hot water), and contact with harsh chemicals without gloves. Most importantly: don't peel the gel off at home. Always come in for a proper soak-off — it takes 20 minutes and protects your natural nail.
